Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator to join our Data Platforms Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical leadership and support for our database operations, ensuring the highest level of performance, security, and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and optimize Oracle Database environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
* Liaise with cross-functional teams to champion database best practices and emerging technologies.
* Collaborate with technical engineers to resolve complex issues and implement solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Extensive experience in operational support, administration, and optimization of Oracle Database environments.
* Demonstrated technical leadership with a strong ability to mentor team members.
* Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Able to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient database solutions.
* Experience in service reporting and SLA management.
* Strong focus on detail and continuous improvement.
* Hands-on experience supporting and optimizing enterprise database technologies.
* Experience with database automation, scripting, and DevOps methodologies.
