Job Description
o
Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock control and efficient goods movement
o
Supervise and support warehouse staff, providing hands-on leadership to meet operational goals
o
Utilise SAP for inventory management, stock transfers, and order processing
o
Coordinate the safe loading and unloading of trucks, maintaining compliance with site safety standards
o
Operate forklifts and oversee forklift operations, ensuring proper licensing and adherence to safety procedures
o
Maintain a strong focus on HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards across all warehouse activities
o
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely order preparation and dispatch
o
Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of safety and accountability within the team
The Successful Applicant
o
A versatile approach with the ability to lead from the floor and adapt to changing priorities
o
Proven experience supervising small warehouse or operations teams in a fast-paced environment
o
Strong ERP system knowledge, ideally SAP, with confidence in stock control and inventory processes
o
A current forklift license with hands-on experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting
o
Excellent understanding of warehouse safety, HACCP, and GMP standards
o
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, able to coordinate across departments
o
A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and team development
o
Previous experience in food, FMCG, or regulated warehousing environments highly regarded
