This is a CSSD Technician role with Ramsay Health Care based in Gold Coast, QLD, AU Ramsay Health Care Role Seniority - junior More about the CSSD Technician role at Ramsay Health Care About The Role An exciting permanent part-time opportunity is available for a motivated, reliable, and customer-focused individual to join our supportive team in the Sterilising Department at John Flynn Private Hospital. The anticipated start date is January 2026. While previous experience is desirable, it is not essential, and comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate. In this role, you will: Assist with the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping, and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for both internal clinical departments and external customers. Work collaboratively with Operating Theatre staff to ensure the timely delivery of sterile products, trays, and equipment. Contribute to a high-performing team environment that manages workflow efficiently and meets critical deadlines. Undertake manual handling tasks and work on your feet for the duration of your shift. You will play a vital role in the surgical process, and your ability to excel in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success. Key Skills And Experience To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate: Certificate III in Sterilising Services (desirable). Previous experience as a Sterilising Services Technician (desirable). A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills. Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail. Sound understanding of the principles outlined in AS 5369:2023. Availability to work across 7 day roster (desirable). Remuneration: On offer is $27.30 - $30.13 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
