Project Leader
Job Summary:
The Project Leader will oversee a major Waste Water Treatment Plant Project in regional Victoria, where you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery, including compliance with HSE requirements, cost control, stakeholder management, procurement, and team leadership. You will work closely with the principal and project stakeholders to ensure risk mitigation, maintaining program timelines, managing subcontractor performance, and fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including compliance with HSE requirements, cost control, stakeholder management, procurement, and team leadership.
* Work closely with the principal and project stakeholders to ensure risk mitigation, maintaining program timelines, managing subcontractor performance, and fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and operational excellence.
* Manage a team of professionals to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Develop and implement effective project management strategies to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
* Extensive experience managing complex water, wastewater or similar process-related projects in excess of $25m.
* Commitment to safety, sustainability, and community engagement.
* Familiarity with Victorian Water Authority Major Works Contract – Design and Construct Head Contract conditions and compliance processes.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and team management skills.
