About the Role
We are seeking a skilled LCV Technician to join our team at our Tamworth VMU. This pivotal role plays a direct impact on the Dealer CSI score and after sales profitability.
The ideal candidate will be the interface between the customer and the aftersales, ensuring consistently high levels of customer service and contributing to increased customer satisfaction and overall success of the aftersales business.
* Performance of all maintenance services according to the manufacturer's instructions and maintenance schedule/service processor.
* All visual inspections, adjustments, operating fluid changes and additions, replacement of worn equipment.
* Knowledge of deviations and extraordinary wear occurrences and initiation of order expansions/feedback to customers.
* Resetting of the maintenance system.
* Cleaning and care of the customer vehicle.
* Self-reliant performance of simple repairs of worn parts (e.g., replacement of mufflers, outside mirrors, tyres and balancing, etc.).
* Performance of defined, but also more extensive, assembly work and repair operations in cooperation with systems technicians (e.g., major assembly replacement, suspension strut placement, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
Retrofitting and start-up of accessories and detachable body components.
Adhere to Health & Safety Policies and Procedures at all times.
Analyses and synthesises a wide range of information in order to draw conclusions or make decisions.
Requirements
A trained, certified technician in an automotive service field is required for this role.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be able to focus on the needs of the customer.
Tackling tasks in a structured systematic manner, ensuring completion to plan and quality standards is essential.
Prompts and responds to different ways of working in the face of changing situations.
Contributes positively to a team in order to achieve common business objectives.
