Barefoot Therapists is a leading multi-disciplinary paediatric practice located on the scenic Mornington Peninsula. We offer services from infancy through adolescence into adulthood at our Barefoot Child & Family Centre in Rosebud and Gadara Farm in Boneo. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, engaging therapy in both indoor and outdoor settings, supported by a strong clinical leadership team.
About you:
You are an Occupational Therapist with 3+ years of experience wishing to join an experienced multidisciplinary team. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in mental health occupational therapy practice and be willing to develop a role within our team supporting the mental health of our clients and their families in addition to their other occupational therapy goals.
For clinicians with an interest in Animal Assisted Therapy there are opportunities for training with CEO Sarah Munn and regular work based at Gadara Farm, right down the road from our clinic.

Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based 1:1 therapy intervention and group programs.Develop and review client goals.Conduct assessments and prepare reports.Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals.Support families with NDIS navigation and connect them with local services.Provide supervision to grade 1 therapists.
Requirements:
AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.Better Access to Mental Health Provider endorsement (highly desirable)OTA Membership (required to consider a pathway to providing BAMH services, if not already registered to do so).Valid driver's license and own car.NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children checks.Commitment to high standards of practice and professional development.Must have Australian work authorisation at time of application.

- Competitive salary: $100,000 - $110,000 per annum (including super).
