About our Team
Working in the Office of the Director General in the Ministerial Liaison Unit, you will provide strategic support to the Department’s ministerial offices, conduct critical analysis and review information, and regularly liaise with staff all across the Department and in ministerial offices on a range of complex and diverse matters that may be related to the ministerial portfolios the Department supports including: Early Childhood Education, Child Protection, Prevention of Family & Domestic Violence, Community Services, Women’s Interests, Disability Services, Seniors & Ageing, Volunteering, Youth, Housing and Homelessness.

Information about the Talent Register
1. This Talent Register is an online portal that allows you to register your interest for short term contract opportunities (up to 12 months) at the Department of Communities in a range of key positions across the Ministerial Liaison Unit within the Office of the Director General division.
2. Opportunities are temporary and may be offered on a full time or part time basis.
3. The register is actively monitored, and applicants may be contacted if an opportunity arises suiting their skills and experience.
