Where your story begins: We are seeking an experienced and safety-oriented Mechanical Shift Fitter for our plant in the southwest of Western Australia.

As a mechanical shift worker, you will be required to work across all the processing areas and gain valuable experience in maintenance at the forefront of the manufacturing industry.
We currently employ a workforce of, the majority of whom work on a continuous shift roster.
The role you'll play: The role of the Shift Fitter is essential for sustaining minimal interruptions in plant operations.
They oversee all manufacturing areas, promptly identifying and addressing any issues, and liaising with production and support teams as required.
Their key duty is to maintain plant machinery effectively, ensuring optimal uptime.
This position requires a solid understanding of both reactive and preventative maintenance methodologies to manage and resolve potential disruptions to production.This is a 24/7 operation, involving 4 x 12 hour shifts on (2 x 6am-6pm, 2 x 6pm-6am) and then 4 days off.
