DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Environmental & Sustainability Advisor to join the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) team in Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role on one of Queensland's largest and most significant rail infrastructure programs, supporting environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives and best practice systems across project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the implementation and ongoing management of environmental and sustainability systems across the QTMP project.
* Conduct site inspections, audits, incident investigations and risk assessments to ensure compliance with environmental requirements and project obligations.
* Coordinate environmental reporting, sustainability metrics, waste management tracking and client reporting requirements including ISCA-related activities.
* Provide day-to-day project support including toolbox talks, SWMS reviews, inductions, inspections and environmental guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
* Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders while promoting continuous improvement and best practice environmental outcomes.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in civil, rail or major construction projects in an environmental or sustainability-focused role.
* Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, compliance obligations, environmental management systems and ISO standards.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and report writing skills with the ability to influence positive project outcomes.
* Proactive, adaptable and team-oriented professional who can work autonomously in a fast-paced project environment.
