Business Development Manager – Adelaide

Hopefully, you! We're seeking a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Manager to join our Sales team in Adelaide. This is a key role responsible for growing and nurturing long‐term partnerships across the architecture, design and construction industries, helping to drive sustainable revenue growth within your dedicated territory.
You'll be supported by an Account Manager and work collaboratively to identify opportunities, service existing clients and build Eco Outdoor's presence in the market. This role suits someone who is commercially minded, self‐motivated and genuinely enjoys building trusted client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Identifying, developing and maintaining key client relationships within your territory
* Building strong, long‐term partnerships across architecture, design and construction
* Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, from architects and designers to contractors
* Identifying growth opportunities and prioritising high-value accounts
* Working closely with your Account Manager to understand client needs and deliver solutions
* Creating and executing customised sales plans for key clients
* Promoting new products and services to existing customers
* Providing after‐sales support to ensure long‐term client retention
* Acting as a coach and mentor to your Account Manager
* Maintaining accurate records and pipeline activity within CRM systems
Requirements
* Proven experience in a relevant sales or business development role
* A natural ability to build strong, trusting relationships
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Confidence managing client relationships and day‐to‐day enquiries
* High attention to detail when managing leads and projects from start to finish
* A strong interest in architecture, design and construction
* Solid understanding of sales principles and customer experience
* Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) highly regarded
* A proactive, motivated and self‐directed approach to work
