We're seeking a detail-oriented individual to preserve and share Australasia's rich Pentecostal heritage. As an archivist, you'll play a crucial role in cataloguing and maintaining a diverse range of archival materials.
About the Job Description
* Catalogue and maintain archives, including early Pentecostal journals, denominational magazines, personal letters, photographs, and rare media items.
* Prepare and scan items upon request, ensuring high-quality results.
* Organize and relocate physical files and archival boxes as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately describe content and identify key information for each item.
* Maintain detailed records of archival materials, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent attention to detail, strong written communication skills, and the ability to adapt your communication style for different audiences.
Required Skills & Attributes:
* Relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in archives, records management, or a related field.
* Practicing Christian with active church involvement.
* Strong time management and organizational abilities.
* Ability to perform manual handling tasks.
* Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
