About the Role
We are delivering some of Australia's most critical water infrastructure projects. With major investment in dam infrastructure and long-term partnerships with Dam owners nationwide, we offer an unparalleled opportunity to work on complex and high-impact projects across the country.
This role will involve contributing to feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management, collaborating with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers.
The role offers flexibility to base yourself in either our Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Perth or Melbourne offices.
Key Responsibilities
* Structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways and appurtenant structures.
* Conceptual to detailed design of dams and structural components of dams.
* Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams.
* Construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data and construction reporting.
* Preparation of tenders and proposals & providing mentoring.
Qualifications and Experience
* Demonstrated capability in structural design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
* Positive attitude, seeing challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate and grow.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Enjoy developing and nurturing relationships with internal stakeholders, clients as well as the local industry, whether through project work, client initiatives or industry associations.
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline (essential).
