Your new role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join our client's Disability Support team. This full-time role is ideal for someone with strong and demonstrated leadership skills, a background in Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Care Planning.
* Lead and support a team of approximately 25 Support Workers across multiple SIL houses.
* Ensure high-quality care planning and service delivery aligned with individual client needs.
* Travel between various SIL locations in Townsville and surrounding areas.
* Provide hands-on support during staff shortages (no regular night shifts, but flexibility required).
* Oversee operations in houses with varying staffing needs (one house has up to 8 staff at a time).
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need to possess the following:
* Minimum Certificate III in Disability Support (or equivalent).
* Previous experience as a Team Leader in a disability support setting is essential.
* Demonstrated experience in Care Plans and SIL environments.
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel.
