Warehouse Leadership Opportunity
Our Tasmanian distribution hub, located in Launceston, is a key warehouse/distribution site across Australia.
* Operational Excellence: Manage site distribution, warehouse operations, fleet management, suppliers, property, and inventory control to meet performance targets while ensuring a high level of EHS compliance.
* Safety Leadership: Champion safety and wellbeing, ensuring compliance with legislation, company policies, and standards.
* Team Management: Lead, coach, and mentor your team, driving people development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
* Continuous Improvement: Drive site and process improvement projects using our supply chain framework and adopt new technologies to maintain industry-leading service standards.
* Collaboration: Work closely with regional services managers, the broader supply chain, customer service, and local sales representatives to meet service commitments.
We're looking for an experienced leader who can oversee and coordinate all aspects of our Launceston Distribution Hub, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations. A minimum of 3 years experience managing small to medium warehouse environments is required.
Key responsibilities include operational excellence, safety leadership, team management, continuous improvement, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills. Experience in managing EHS and COR in line with policy and legislation, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and proficiency in MS Office are highly desirable.
