Job Title: Senior Estimator – Complex Building Tender Leader
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the preparation and submission of competitive tenders for complex building projects. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, extensive experience in the Australian building industry, and strong commercial acumen.
About You
1. A degree in Construction Management or a related field.
2. Extensive experience as a senior estimator with knowledge of construction methods and materials.
3. Familiarity with current market trends and conditions in Western Australia's building industry.
4. Broad commercial skills including cost management, budgeting, risk assessment and negotiation techniques.
5. Possess excellent analytical thinking capabilities to effectively evaluate project proposals from contractors/subcontractors ensuring that best value is achieved on behalf of our clients without compromising on quality standards desired by them.
The successful candidate must thrive working within collaborative teams towards delivering results under tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality throughout engagements which may include attending board meetings presentations conferences trade shows exhibitions events award functions etc., additionally develop junior staff members through mentorship providing guidance support whenever necessary contributing positively toward organizational culture growth opportunities professional development succession planning initiatives amongst others.;
