Join Austal as an HVAC Designer in the Design and Engineering team. The role involves supporting the design and drafting of a vessel from concept through to delivery.
What’s Involved
- Produce accurate and high-quality HVAC design documentation that meets procedural, regulatory, and audit requirements.
- Ensure HVAC systems comply with relevant regulatory authorities, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Provide technical support and maintain professional relationships across engineering, production, and project teams.
- Champion innovation and cost-effective solutions, actively contributing to process improvements and waste reduction.
You’ll Need
- Diploma of Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent
- Refrigeration & Airconditioning Technical (Tradesperson)
- Vessel design in accordance with technical requirements
- A solid understanding of production methods and the practical application of design
- Knowledge of regulatory body rules and regulation requirements
- Technical knowledge of air-conditioning, heating, ventilating and ducting products
