Aberstone & Compassion are a leading provider of high-quality support services, committed to enhancing the lives of our participants. We are currently seeking compassionate, experienced, and dedicated support workers to join our team and provide support and care to our participants.
Position: Support Worker – Location: Northern and Southern Suburbs
Job Type: Part time/Casual
Shifts Available: Monday-Sunday, various times
Position Overview:
As a Support Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our participants receive the highest level of care and support. You will assist our participants with daily living and community access supports, creating a positive, safe and supportive environment where participants can thrive and achieve their goals.
Requirements:
Excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of NDIS, and a strong desire to help and care for others.
Relevant qualifications in disability, community services, or a related field are desirable but not essential. Any mental health experience and or experience in working with children with complex needs, would be advantageous.
Current First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, must have the ability to work up to a minimum of 15 hours per week.
