About the role
The Sports Coordination Support Officer assists the delivery and integration of sport initiatives and inclusive participation opportunities across NSW public schools, including the Representative School Sport Pathway. The role sits within the School Sport Unit, part of the Student Support and Specialist Programs directorate in the Teaching, Learning and Student Wellbeing division, which delivers state-wide programs that enhance student engagement, wellbeing and participation in Arts, Sport, Community Languages and International Programs. The role provides timely and reliable clerical and administrative services to support the achievement of business results and customer service excellence in relation to school sport.
Key accountabilities
* Support the business unit in delivering school sport across NSW public schools.
* Coordinate local school sporting events, manage venues, fees, equipment and communications.
* Respond to calls, emails and enquiries with a customer-focused approach.
* Maintain accurate records and manage files according to departmental standards.
* Prepare documents, spreadsheets and reports to ensure smooth information flow.
