Facilities Management Team Lead
This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity for a proactive and knowledgeable individual to join our team as Facilities Management Team Lead.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Central Support team responsible for supporting the delivery of efficient and compliant Facilities Management services to non-network infrastructure and assets across a diverse range of properties within the portfolio.
* Audit and monitor all team activities for compliance, quality and effectiveness.
* Develop and maintain processes associated with the key activities delivered by the Central Support Team which includes areas such as asset database management, maintenance planning, compliance documentation, administrative support, mailroom services, hazardous materials and hygiene services, property management, reception and reporting.
* Contribute to and support the development of business strategy relating to future property and accommodation requirements.
* Contribute to and support the planning, budgeting and reporting processes.
* Contribute to and support enterprise risk management.
* Manage talent through effective execution of employee performance outcomes through established systems and processes and the ongoing development of employees.
* Contribute to and support the Safety, Health, Environmental & community programs.
* Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives and encourage team through change to deliver results.
* Collaborate with other Facilities Management Team Leads to promote consistency and implement improvements to benefit the overall team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tertiary qualifications in an asset management, planning or property related discipline or extensive industry demonstrated experience within a property or facilities management environment.
* Solid understanding of asset management planning practices, principles and legislative requirements.
* Demonstrated experience planning or delivering facility solutions that support business strategies.
* Ability to work autonomously, with initiative and independent judgement.
* Attention to detail with high level organisation and time management abilities.
* Ability to influence with strong communication and interpersonal skills with high customer focus.
* Strong leadership, influencing, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid WA Driver's License Class 'C' or 'C-A';
