Role: Early Childhood Senior Educator Location: South-East Queensland Region, QLD – All centres located within the South-East Queensland regional area in QLD Salary Range: Senior Educators – ranging from $39.85 p/hr to $41.05 p/hr + Superannuation (dependent on qualifications and experience) Employment Type: Full-time Permanent
Early Childhood Senior Educators are responsible for creating a safe, inclusive learning environment and leading classroom activities that support the National Quality Standards and Goodstart Practice Guide. They collaborate with centre teams to observe, inform, and continuously improve educational programs, contribute to centre and business plans, and uphold safety, health, and wellbeing commitments.

* Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
* Have passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
* Utilise and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver a high‐quality education program and practice in collaboration with the Education Leader.
* Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements.
* Positively contribute to delivering the Centre and business plans.
Qualifications
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
* Current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification.
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
* Having passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
* Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
* Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.
* Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program.
* Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
