An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced Business Services Manager to join a highly regarded Sydney-based accounting and advisory firm with an established reputation in the private client and SME market. This firm operates within the mid-tier space and is known for delivering commercially focused advice to privately owned businesses, family groups, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals. With approximately 50 staff and multiple specialist divisions, the firm offers the technical capability of a larger practice while maintaining a collaborative and partner-led culture. The business has experienced strong and sustained growth and is seeking a capable Manager to play a key role in leading client engagements, mentoring staff and delivering strategic advisory outcomes. The Opportunity Working closely with Partners and senior leadership, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients across business services and tax advisory matters. This role offers exposure to complex group structures, advisory-focused work and a broad client base including SMEs, large corporations, listed entities and international businesses. Key responsibilities include: Managing a portfolio of business services and tax clients Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and complex compliance work Delivering proactive tax and business advisory solutions Assisting clients with structuring, tax planning and business growth strategies Managing workflow, deadlines and team performance Leading, mentoring and developing junior team members Building strong long-term client relationships Working closely with Partners on strategic client matters and advisory engagements About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess: CA or CPA qualification 6 years’ experience within public practice accounting Strong business services and tax experience Previous experience managing client relationships and reviewing work Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, commercially minded and client-focused approach Experience working with privately owned businesses and family groups Why Join This Firm ?
