About the role
As our Quality & Compliance Partner, you'll be a key connector between our Quality & Compliance functions and Operational teams, working collaboratively to champion continual improvement and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
Responsibilities
* Empower care teams with the skills and knowledge to meet compliance and quality standards
* Provide training and guidance on managing feedback and incidents
* Integrate identified improvements into the Continuous Improvement (CI) process
* Support audit and compliance activities, ensuring audits are tracked to completion and learnings are actioned
* Maintain the registers used by the Quality and Risk team as living documents by following up actions and ensuring all entries are accurate and actioned
* Monitor document management processes across business units, assisting with version control and document accessibility
* Foster a culture of ongoing learning and improvement throughout the organisation
Note that some occasional travel may be required to conduct site audits and training sessions as required.
Qualifications
* Relevant experience and/or formal studies in quality management, compliance, internal auditing, document management — preferably within the aged care, health, or disability sectors
* Detailed knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities of Approved Aged care Providers, including Quality management, Funding compliance, Accreditation requirements, and risks
* Coaching skills with the proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and support geographically dispersed teams
* Proven ability to effectively manage projects, plan work, set priorities, and adapt to emerging needs, while maintaining great attention to detail
* Initiative and critical thinking skills; bringing innovative ideas to improve quality performance and efficiencies
