Job Title: Rural Road Maintenance Specialist
The Plant Operator/Labourer will operate plant and machinery, particularly graders, to maintain and construct rural roads and associated infrastructure. Key responsibilities include operating graders, performing final trim grading, conducting pre-start checks and maintenance, and carrying out general labouring duties.
About the Role:
* Key Responsibilities include:
* Operate graders and other heavy plant in accordance with licence and competency requirements.
* Perform final trim grading and formation maintenance of unsealed roads.
* Conduct pre-start checks, maintenance, and defect reporting for all machinery.
* Carry out general labouring duties, including road and street maintenance, sign installation, slashing, and litter collection.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Operate graders and other heavy plant safely and efficiently
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
* Work effectively as part of a team
