We seek a volunteer to coordinate Gecko Talks to be held at Currumbin RSL on the 4th Wed of each month from 6 - 8 p.m. The talks will align topics with Gecko's vision and raise community awareness.
The Role
The role (approx. 4 hrs/week) includes attending the Gecko talks.
Duties include:
1. Booking speakers
2. Liaising and communicating with Currumbin RSL
3. Preparing promotional details
4. Being proficient with relevant computer software
5. Liaising with Gecko reps to introduce speakers
6. Creating and maintaining records
We need a multi-tasker who builds rapport, plans events, communicates with stakeholders, and is an independent team member interested in promoting environmental awareness within the community.
