Job Description
This position plays a critical role in shaping our enterprise risk strategies and driving a strong, values-led risk culture across the organisation. You will provide insightful guidance to senior leaders, ensuring our risk approach aligns with both purpose and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Risk Culture Framework: Promote a strong risk culture across the organisation by conducting training sessions, assessing risk culture effectiveness, providing guidance to business units, and championing a culture where risk awareness, capability, and continuous improvement are part of everyday practice.
* Risk Management Strategy / Enterprise Risk Management Framework: Ensure it evolves in line with both regulatory requirements and our strategic ambitions. Lead maturity assessments and develop strategies to enhance risk management capabilities.
* Risk Appetite Framework: Define risk appetite statements and tolerance indicators and monitor the bank's risk profile. Deliver insights and direction to guide balanced risk-taking that supports sound decision-making and sustainable growth.
* Risk Governance and Accountability Model: Implement the Three Lines Model to define clear roles and responsibilities, enhancing ownership and transparency across the organisation.
About You
To succeed in this role, you must have over five years of experience in developing and maintaining enterprise risk management and risk culture frameworks. Your expertise in contemporary risk management practices, trends, and risk governance is essential. Strong skills in process improvement, change implementation, and problem-solving are also required.
