Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people experiencing disadvantage. As a Reconnect Case Manager at Box Hill Institute, you will play a vital role in supporting students to overcome barriers and re‐engage with education, training and employment pathways.
Working closely with students, families and support services, you'll help empower individuals to achieve sustainable, long‐term success.
This is a full‐time, fixed‐term role until 31 December 2027. Salary is $76,950 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.

Responsibilities
* Provide tailored case management support to Reconnect students, addressing both vocational and non‐vocational barriers.
* Deliver one‐on‐one support through outreach and on‐campus engagement.
* Develop, review and update individual Work and Learning Plans in partnership with students.
* Offer counselling, mentoring, advocacy and referral services for students and families.
* Support students to remain engaged in education, training or employment pathways and successfully complete their programs.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with external services, community organisations and support networks.
* Maintain accurate case notes, risk assessments and administrative records.
* Contribute to student programs, orientation sessions and proactive engagement initiatives.
Qualifications & Attributes
* A relevant AQF Level 4 qualification or higher in community services, youth work, social sciences or similar.
* Demonstrated experience providing counselling, youth work, welfare or student support services.
* Direct case management experience with vulnerable clients in the community.
* Strong ability to build rapport with young people and provide advocacy and individualised support.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Proven organisational skills, with the ability to manage caseloads, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* High level cultural awareness, empathy and commitment to inclusive practice.
* Alignment with a child‐safe, inclusive and values‐based workplace.
* Have, or be willing to obtain, Victorian Working with Children Check and National Police Check clearance.
