UGL has current vacancies for skilled and safety-focused Paint and Blaster roles to join our Maintenance Team at Olympic Dam in South Australia.
This role involves maintenance work on major infrastructure at the underground mine site. It operates on a 7 days on / 7 nights on / 7 days off roster. FIFO is from Adelaide, or residents can work residentially in Roxby Downs.
About The Role
* The successful candidates will join a small project team in an underground mine, constructing grizzlies, rebuilding load chutes, bins, and other maintenance projects.
* The team undertakes lifting, fabrication, fitting, equipment operation, welding, and civil tasks for structural, mechanical, and civil projects.
About You
* Trade certified or suitably experienced
* Desirable tickets: Backhoe, Bobcat, Franna, Truck, Rigger, or Dogman
* Confined Space Entry (desirable)
* Work at Heights (desirable)
* Driver's License
* High Risk Work License
* Current First Aid Qualification (desirable)
* High standards of work and passion for safety and quality

* 12-hour shifts with penalties for night shift
