**Make an impact at Serco**
As a School Cleaner, you will perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, to ensure a clean and hygienic environment in classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
- You will also:_
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors, and restock supplies as needed.
- Empty and properly dispose of waste bins and recyclables.
- Maintain and organize cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate cleaning schedules and tasks.
- Adhere to school policies and regulations.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to Work, Health and Safety standards

- To be successful in this role, you'll have:_
- Valid Australian work rights
- NSW National Police check issued within the last 3 months
- Working with Children Check or willing to get one
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming school environment.
