We are looking for a dedicated Medical Relationship Officer to join our East Melbourne team and support the smooth operation of our clinic while ensuring our clients and their families receive the highest level of care and customer service.
About the Role
As a Medical Relationship Officer at Nexia Health Care, you will play a key role in managing the daily administrative functions of the clinic and acting as the first point of contact for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing specialist schedules, appointments, and reminders
* Overseeing the clinic's administrative processes, including billing, insurance claims, and payments
* Proficient in telephone communication, with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate the clinic's programs and services
* Ensuring the clinic environment is safe, secure, and well-maintained
* Work collaboratively with clinical and specialist team
* Upholding strict confidentiality and privacy standards in line with the Privacy Act
* Supporting the clinic in compliance with healthcare regulations and participating in quality assurance initiatives.

Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with:
* Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a healthcare or clinic setting
* Compassion and empathy when working with children, adolescents, and their families
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Google systems
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work on-site full-time due to the hands-on nature of the role.
* A strong sales and intake background will be looked upon favourably.
