Senior Hydrogeologist
to join our continuously growing team in Charlotte. Requisition Number: 2025-1350-06. Project Leadership: Manage full project lifecycles, including planning, budgeting, client relations, and technical execution. Technical Fieldwork: Conduct complex site characterizations, groundwater/surface water studies, leachate and gas assessments, and compliance evaluations. Reporting & Permitting: Develop detailed environmental reports, permit applications, and technical documentation. Proposal Development: Lead and support proposals for complex, high-value projects. Team Development: Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge-sharing across disciplines. Client Engagement: Build lasting relationships with clients and represent S&ME; at industry events and professional organizations. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience Experience in nuclear and/or waste management markets is a plus Professional Geologist (PG) license in North Carolina Excellent written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail; and ability to meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, and ability to learn additional software applications Grow With Us / Perks
