Digital Content Producer – Australian Sailing
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, the Digital Content Producer will develop, execute and report targeted digital campaigns across our digital platforms, telling the stories of our 350 Affiliated Clubs and 140 Discover Sailing centres.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development and execution of Australian Sailing's digital content strategy across owned channels.
* Collaborate on an annual content calendar aligned to major events, campaigns and strategic priorities.
* Ensure consistent messaging across all AS brands and channels.
* Capture and edit high‑quality video and photography, managing end‑to‑end production.
* Highlight core AS assets such as Discover Sailing, SheSails, Australian Sailing Team and major events.
* Produce real‑time event coverage and behind‑the‑scenes storytelling.
* Manage digital assets, maintain secure archives and create highlight collections.
* Collaborate with clubs and partners to tell local stories and drive participation.
* Drive social media presence with trending and on‑brand content, grow engagement and reach.
* Attend domestic events, develop event‑specific content plans.
* Execute a calendar to encourage participation across targeted audiences.
* Track and report on performance metrics, social media analytics and propose engagement tactics.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in digital content creation, especially video and photography.
* Hands‑on with camera gear, lighting and audio equipment.
* Experience managing content calendars, partnership deliverables and high‑pressure event coverage.
* Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
* Experience working with children and an understanding of appropriate behaviours.
* Working with Children Check (or equivalent) and knowledge of the Australian sport system.
Technical & Professional Skills
* Strong storytelling instincts and passion for sport visual storytelling.
* Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, plus Photoshop, Canva, After Effects and Lightroom.
* Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and emerging platforms.
* Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and collaborate effectively.
