This position is responsible for the planning and allocation of clinical staff to operational rosters across state wide operational stations and regions encompassing the Metro, Country and State-wide (Rescue, Retrieval and Aviation Services plus Emergency Operations Centre) operations. The clinical staff that are planned and scheduled provide 24/7 cover to enable SAAS's response to emergencies.

The Operational Planning and resourcing Department is in the Critical Operational Services Directorate. The department also forecasts and reports to other directorates in relation to roster coverage for SAAS.
