This is a hands-on, end-to-end role managing all events across 3 brands within Bester Family Trust, this includes:
* Glenbosch Weddings & Events
* Special Private & Public brand Events for our other 2 brands
* Marketing coordination for events
You will be the main point of contact for planning, coordinating, and delivering events — while also supporting event-based marketing to ensure strong attendance, brand alignment, and beautiful storytelling.
Event Planning & Coordination
* Plan and manage all weddings at Glenbosch from booking through to event delivery
* Coordinate corporate, private, brand and public events
* Manage event timelines, run sheets, floor plans and logistics
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, stylists, kitchen, musicians and vendors
* Be on-site during events to oversee smooth execution (this will not all be over weekends, only about 15 weekends per year) * We don't work on Sundays.
* Coordinate staff rosters and event setup requirements
* Ensure events align with various brands
Client & Supplier Management
* Act as the main contact for couples, clients and collaborators
* Prepare quotes, proposals and event budgets
* Build strong relationships with preferred suppliers
* Manage contracts, confirmations and event documentation
Event Marketing & Promotion
Assist with marketing around events, including:
* Event listings
* Email campaigns
* Social media content ideas
* Collaborations and partnerships
* Work closely with owners on event concepts and launches
* Help capture content during events (photos, videos, behind-the-scenes moments)
* Ensure events are well promoted and on-brand
Systems & Administration
* Manage messaging and event bookings through CRM and booking systems
* Maintain event calendars and internal schedules
* Track attendance, feedback and post-event insights
* Support invoicing and deposits related to events
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
Experience:
* Event planning: 1 year (Preferred)
* Event marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
