Responsibilities

* Part of the team delivering University transition activities, this role is key in the delivery of the first year of the Future Skills programme, Navigate.
* Designing and delivering a range of resources and activities that help students transition into and through higher education.
* Develop a foundational knowledge of the Kingston graduate attributes, understand themselves better and prepare for further stages of the Future Skills programme.
* Support with the planning and delivery of other key transition-focused deliverables.


The Person

* Dynamic and innovative professional with a passion for supporting students\' transition and development.
* Ability to design engaging, inclusive and flexible resources and sessions contextualised within different areas of study and tailored to diverse learning preferences.
* Strong command of modern teaching methods and interactive technologies.
* Excellent interpersonal abilities to develop rapport and engage students, addressing behavioural challenges tactfully.
* Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring high-quality outcomes with attention to detail.


Directorate/Function & Context

The Students' Directorate aims to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience for all current and future students to ensure they are "sought after", supporting participation, attainment and success before, during and after their time at Kingston. This role contributes to a culture of high performance that is inclusive, innovative, ambitious and enterprising.

Additional information: This is a full-time, permanent role; on-campus presence is expected for the majority of the working week.
