Administrative Support Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing highly efficient professional reception and administrative duties that support the operations of our organisation.
The position works as part of a team and maintains regular contact with health professionals and service providers to ensure effective outcomes for clients.
1. Key Responsibilities:

o Provide efficient reception duties including professional telephony services ensuring appropriate and timely responses.
o Provide excellent client service and at all times project the organisation's image in a courteous, efficient and helpful manner.
o Maintain administrative, data and client record systems.
o Provide administrative and clerical support to the organisation program and corporate areas.
o Keep informed of the organisations programs and services.
o Maintain appointment and booking systems.
o Prepare routine and less complex correspondence and reports.
o Maintain office equipment and resources.
o Maintain confidential and accurate, real time records and statistics and provide reports as required.
o Participate in organisational and community activities to advance the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
o Work within Wuchopperen's Policies and Procedures including the Staff Code of Conduct and the Work Health and Safety requirements and contribute to continuous improvement processes to ensure compliance with relevant standards and safe, effective service delivery.

o Demonstrated experience in the provision of administrative support, the use of Microsoft Office, client information systems and general office and reception duties preferably within a community service environment.
o Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander societies and cultures from an historical and contemporary perspective, including the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
o Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment, prioritise and meet deadlines, deal with matters of a sensitive and confidential nature.
o Demonstrated ability to meet and work within the core values and behaviours of Wuchopperen.

o Extensively developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability liaise with a range of stakeholders as well as effectively advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
