Administration Team Leader - Elective Surgery Unit
Part Time - 60.8 hours per fortnight
The Admin Team Leader will provide administrative leadership support to the Manager Elective Surgery Unit (ESU), and clerical staff employed in the ESU.
This includes ensuring clerical staff work in a systematic, organised, team-based and consumer-focussed manner; and identifying and implementing process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative leadership support to the ESU Manager and clerical staff
- Maintain systematic, organised, team-based, consumer-focused administrative practices
- Identify and implement process improvements
Requirements / Qualifications
- Leadership experience in a permanent or acting Team Leader role or equivalent
- Experience working in the acute public hospital environment
- Ability to develop policies, plans and strategies for the ESU
- Exceptional customer service skills and commitment to meet internal and external customer expectations
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to work in a team and independently
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office with intermediate to advanced Excel
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Proven organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
The role is remunerated in line with the Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement.
