Work as a Maintenance Supervisor in our remote Antarctic stations, overseeing the delivery of infrastructure works and supervising on-site activities. You will manage trades teams, coordinate daily tasks, and balance planned activities with unscheduled repairs.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise maintenance and construction activities.
* Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules.
* Ensure workplace safety and maintain compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
As a proactive member of our community, you will contribute to general kitchen duties, garbage clearance, and other expedition support tasks. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, as well as technical knowledge in maintenance and construction.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Trade or Technical Certificate (Certificate III) in a relevant field.
* Citizenship: Australian citizens are preferred, but residents with work rights and New Zealand citizens may be considered.
* Valid Passport and required visas for international travel.
* First Aid and CPR certifications.

Expeditioners must comply with the AAD's Infectious Respiratory Disease Management Plan, including COVID-19 vaccination or documentation of a medically documented COVID-19 infection within 12 months of deployment.
