About This Role As a specialist intensivist, you will be working in an 8-bed level 2 ICU at our hospital, providing critical care services to the community. You will deliver high-quality intensive care services and clinical leadership across the ICU and the broader hospital. 1. You will provide specialist Intensive Care services including admission/discharge decision-making and consultative support to deteriorating ward patients. 2. Provide clinical leadership within ICU supporting best practice care, multidisciplinary decision-making. 3. Supervise registrars/junior medical staff contributing to coaching feedback professional development culture. (i) Participation quality improvement Clinical audit safety governance activities consistent with health priorities NSQHS standards), (ii) Undergraduate postgraduate teaching partnership University Tasmania rural school training programs.) 4. Fellow College of Intensive Care Medicine (FCICM) or equivalent considered desirable criteria. ,
