Job Title
Diesel Mechanic – Workshop (2/1 FIFO)
Location
Port Hedland, Western Australia (Option to work locally or FIFO from Perth on a 2:1 roster).
Responsibilities
* Deliver first‐class service to customers across mining, automotive, and power generation.
* Complete breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance of heavy diesel products.
* Diagnose and repair various engines; rebuild and recondition engines.
* Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environment policies, procedures and legislation; report any incidents to the Field Service Supervisor.
* Complete required documentation such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
Qualifications
* Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards).
* Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products in field service.
* Experience with Cummins engines highly preferred.
* Solid diagnostic and IT capabilities.
* Previous experience of working in the Pilbara highly desirable.
