This represents a rare opportunity with a highly reputable and recognised property developer based in the Maitland region. This company specialises in both residential and commercial sectors, and is known in the industry for its high standards and timely delivery of projects.
POSITION
Due to growth and expansion, the position of Financial Accountant has been created to help the company reach the next level.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* All financial and statutory reporting across the company's entities
* BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT
* All other month‑end/year‑end related duties
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
* CA/CPA
* 5+ years experience in a similar position managing the affairs of a multi‑entity medium‑sized company with circa $100m turnover (construction or property development)
* Public practice experience highly desirable if exposure to construction/property developer clients
* Experience with Xero and various Xero add‑ons
* Strong technical tax knowledge
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills
