Job Description
We are seeking a suitably qualified Electrician to join our surface infrastructure team in the Bowen Basin.
This permanent position offers a family-friendly 7 on / 7 off day shift roster. Flights and a vehicle can be negotiated for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of electrical equipment used in coal mining and be able to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform electrical maintenance across mine site infrastructure
* Respond to breakdowns as directed by coordinators and control room
* Carry out project works, including upgrades, installations, and overhauls of electrical systems
* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify OH&S issues
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* QLD Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence
* Current QLD Manual Driver's Licence
* Minimum 2 years' coal mine site experience
