Job Description

* Ongoing and Part-time opportunities at HEW Level 3.
* Bankstown (0.5 FTE part-time) and Campbelltown (1 FTE) campuses with rostered start and finish times.
* Salary: $70,949 – $77,368 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

Deliver welcoming, well-maintained library spaces that enhance student learning.

The Opportunity

As a Library Experience Officer, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and functional environment for students and staff. This position ensures that library spaces are open, tidy, and conducive to learning, while supporting the smooth operation of library services.

You will manage physical collections, process materials, and assist with intercampus deliveries and document requests. Your work will help maintain the integrity of library resources and ensure timely access for users.

Beyond operational tasks, you will engage with students, providing guidance on library facilities and wayfinding. By contributing to promotions and events, you will help foster a sense of belonging and connection within the library community.

What Success Looks Like:

* Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming library spaces for all users.
* Process and shelve materials accurately and efficiently.
* Support timely delivery of scholarly resources across campuses.
* Assist students with wayfinding and facility use.
* Collaborate with library staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

About You

* Completion of or progress toward a relevant TAFE certificate, or equivalent experience.
* Ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy, including knowledge of Dewey Decimal System.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe suite for data input and scanning.
* Capacity to perform manual handling tasks and work on your feet for extended periods.
* Flexibility to work rostered hours and travel between campuses as required.
