We are seeking a Payroll Officer to deliver high-quality, accurate and compliant payroll services across multiple industries. You will manage payroll processing and employee lifecycle administration for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance and exceptional client service.

What You Will Do
You will take ownership of accurate and timely payroll delivery across weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay cycles.
Key responsibilities include:
* Processing end-to-end payroll across multiple clients and industries
* Calculating wages, superannuation, tax, allowances, commissions and terminations
* Ensuring compliance with Modern Awards and National Employment Standards
* Managing onboarding and offboarding payroll administration
* Maintaining accurate employee records within payroll and HR systems
* Managing timesheets, leave workflows and payroll approvals
* Preparing payroll reports for clients
* Responding to client queries with professionalism and clarity
* Identifying and escalating compliance risks or system improvements
This role blends technical payroll expertise with client service and HR lifecycle administration.

What You Bring
* Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll processing
* Strong and Broad knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Modern Awards and NES
* High attention to detail and strong numerical capability
* Experience with payroll and HR systems (KeyPay and Employment Hero highly regarded)
* Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
* Strong communication skills and client service mindset
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach
