About the Role Reporting to the Group Payroll Lead, the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services, ensuring compliance with legislation, enterprise agreements, and internal policies.
You'll play a key role in managing end-to-end payroll operations, maintaining system data integrity, and supporting ongoing improvement initiatives across HR, payroll, and time and attendance systems.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end payroll processing for Australia and New Zealand employees
* Maintain and validate employee data across HRIS (SuccessFactors), ADP, and T&A systems (Tanda)
* Manage onboarding, lifecycle changes, and termination processing
* Oversee leave management and entitlements in line with policy and legislation
* Reconcile payroll outputs, general ledger data, and financial reports
* Manage month-end, year-end, and statutory reporting including STP, superannuation, and payroll tax
* Partner with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll queries and discrepancies
* Participate in audits, system upgrades, and process improvement projects
* Provide support and training to managers and employees on payroll systems and policies
About You You're a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving. You'll bring:
* 3+ years of payroll experience in a large or complex organisation
* Strong working knowledge of ADP, SuccessFactors, or similar systems
* Understanding of relevant industrial instruments, awards, and payroll legislation
* Proven experience in reconciliations, compliance reporting, and payroll governance
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive approach to process improvement and issue resolution
