Job Description
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Field Applications Specialist in the Human Identification team, providing technical support and training to customers in Morocco, Tunisia, and Western African countries. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced global Life Sciences organization dedicated to making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Main objectives and responsibilities:

Perform post-sales support activities such as telephone and email support, customer training, resolving critical issues, and addressing partner concerns to enhance customer satisfaction.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints, working with EMEA HID FAS experts to resolve issues and provide technical feedback.
Support the sales team by providing timely and professional assistance, including joint customer visits and promoting product benefits.
Conduct pre-sales activities like product demonstrations, seminars, and scientific conferences.
Establish contacts with key opinion leaders and develop local references, supporting new products and forensic workflows.
Provide market intelligence to sales and marketing teams, representing the voice of the customer.

Required qualifications:

Master’s or PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology/Genetics, Bio-Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
Strong technical skills and ability to collaborate with the scientific community.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a forensic lab environment, including data analysis or R&D.
Experience with support/training roles or familiarity with AB/Thermo Fisher Scientific HID technology is preferred.
Willingness to travel internationally, mainly within Western Africa.
Proficiency in Arabic, English, and French.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with ISO 17025 accreditation is a plus.
Field work in diverse environments, including labs and customer sites.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
Ability to prioritize, work independently, and proactively solve problems.
Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
Customer-centric mindset with awareness of market trends and competitors.
Valid driver’s license.
