Facilities Management Team Lead
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Management Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing operations in key locations in Victoria, based at our Bayswater location.
As a Service Delivery Supervisor, you will lead and support our local Facilities Management teams, delivering essential gardening, cleaning, and general maintenance services for a wide range of commercial clients.
With regular site visits and close collaboration with Regional and National Operations Managers, you'll drive operational excellence, support scheduling, and manage team communications.
Your success will be measured by your ability to guide and support local teams to meet schedules, uphold contract specifications, and embrace our purpose-driven values.
You will ensure all incidents and issues are reported and escalated through our systems, contributing to a safe, compliant, and supportive work environment.
You will also play a key role in assisting with tenders, quotations, and maintaining ISO certifications, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support local Facilities Management teams
* Oversee operations in key locations in Victoria
* Deliver essential gardening, cleaning, and general maintenance services
* Drive operational excellence, support scheduling, and manage team communications
* Ensure all incidents and issues are reported and escalated
* Assist with tenders, quotations, and maintain ISO certifications
Requirements:
* A minimum Cert. IV in Horticulture certificate; or equivalent knowledge and experience
* Formal team leadership training and/or equivalent knowledge and experience with demonstrated ability to supervise and support staff
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to coordinate and support teams that are working over a large geographical area
* Sound communication and negotiation skills, able to resolve conflict and assess when to escalate issues appropriately
* Problem solving and technical skills to solve maintenance, contract, and scheduling issues
* Ability to plan, monitor and action contract schedules in a timely manner, promoting quality, cost-effectiveness, and safe work practices at all times
* A demonstrated commitment to the Aruma Code of Conduct
* A high level of physical fitness to meet the manual handling and environmental requirements of the position
* A practical understanding of WHS requirements
* NDIS Worker Screen clearance and Working with Children Check
* A current Australian driver's license and White Card
* Willingness to travel as needed across a regional area
* Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State)

About You:
