Operating within a fast-paced and collaborative setting, this team is focused on delivering clear, engaging, and customer-focused communications across multiple channels. This is a contract opportunity available across multiple Queensland locations. Your new role
Your new role Reporting to the Communications and Media Manager, you will work closely with a Senior Communications Officer, project teams, and subject-matter experts to develop and deliver high-quality communication outputs. You will play a key role in supporting both internal and external communications, ensuring consistency, clarity, and strong audience engagement.
You will also be responsible for: Writing, editing, and distributing engaging content across multiple channels, including campaigns, websites, blogs, media releases, email, video, social media, and project materials. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and subject-matter experts to create and deliver communications across digital and traditional platforms.
Ensuring all communications align with approved brand, content, and social media guidelines. Supporting direct marketing activities, including EDMs and campaign communications, with tasks such as content updates, audience set-up, testing, and publishing. Assisting with the coordination of external providers, including content creators and designers.
Managing multiple requests and stakeholder enquiries while maintaining high quality and attention to detail. Providing administrative and project support for communications activities, including contributing to the evaluation and continuous improvement of marketing strategies. Undertaking research and supporting key program initiatives as required.
Contributing to process improvements and supporting a positive, values-driven team culture. What you'll need to succeed We are seeking a proactive and adaptable communications professional with demonstrated experience in content development and stakeholder engagement.
You will demonstrate: Experience creating high-quality content across a range of communication channels and formats. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, plain English.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and digital platforms. Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders and subject-matter experts to achieve outcomes.
The ability to operate effectively within a large and complex environment. Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field, or equivalent experience.
