About the opportunity
In this role, you will be a key part of our leadership support team, overseeing the financial heartbeat of the school. You will work closely with the Principal and school community to ensure our financial operations run smoothly, transparently and with care.
Your day‑to‑day will include:
* Managing school finances with precision, including tracking fees, handling invoicing, and maintaining accurate financial records.
* Coordinating procurement and budgeting activities to support school operations and strategic goals.
* Translating complex financial guidelines and policies into practical processes that support staff and students.
* Identifying and implementing improvements to systems and procedures for greater efficiency.
* Supporting, mentoring and supervising admin staff to build a cohesive, high‑performing team.
* Acting as a welcoming point of contact for parents, offering clear communication and outstanding service.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
* Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
* Proven ability to oversee and improve systems and resources.
* Strong understanding of financial legislation, regulations, and procedures.
* Experience in managing procurement and budget administration.
* Skills in developing and implementing effective financial management processes.
* Leadership ability to supervise and train support staff.
* Tertiary qualification at Diploma level in Finance or related field.
* For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
