Castlewood Kitchens is a long-established and growing kitchen and joinery manufacturer, supplying quality custom kitchens and cabinetry to project builders, custom builders, and residential clients across NSW.
We are seeking an experienced Check Measure / Site Measure to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring accuracy from site to factory to installation.
This position is ideal for someone with strong joinery knowledge who understands how kitchens are measured, built, and installed, not just drawn.

About the Role
As a Check Measure, you will be responsible for conducting accurate on-site measurements and verifying site conditions prior to manufacture. Your work will directly support our design, CAD, production, and installation teams and help minimize errors, rework, and delays.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct accurate on-site check measures for kitchens and custom joinery
* Verify dimensions, levels, plumb, wall straightness, openings, and site conditions
* Confirm appliance models, service locations, tolerances, fillers, scribes, and clearances
* Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions
* Provide clear redlines and measurement notes for CAD and design teams
* Liaise with designers, CAD, production, and installation to resolve issues early
* Communicate professionally with builders, supervisors, and clients when required
* Proactively identify risks that may affect manufacturing or installation

What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Proven experience as a Check Measure / Site Measure for kitchens or joinery
* Strong understanding of cabinetmaking, installation methods, and construction tolerances
* Ability to read and interpret joinery drawings and plans
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites
* Valid Australian driver's license
Highly Regarded:
* Trade background in cabinetmaking or installation
* Experience working with project builders or volume residential work
* Familiarity with CAD workflows (redlines / mark-ups)
* Knowledge of relevant Australian building standards
