Senior Account Executive

Your role is to manage a portfolio of large to medium sized accounts, ensuring high quality customer service is always provided. The portfolio includes working in support of a Principal & National Manager on several well-known sharing economy companies. Consistently attain set revenue and expense budgets. 7. Consistently meet and exceed revenue and expense budgets; Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers and frequently monitor political, management and other changes within the client organisations to preserve and protect the Company's relationship with the client.
8. Take a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards; (Client First Principles)
9. Implement successful account retention and defence strategies.
10. Maintain an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assist claims personnel in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.
11. Engage with and manage all internal stakeholders in delivering ‘all of Marsh’ to your client base
What you need to have:
12. Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance qualification.
13. Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) highly desirable.
14. 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role.
15. Sound knowledge and application of broking principles, insurance products and service. These apply to general insurance products and services.
16. Clear and effective communication skills.
17. Developed negotiation skills.
18. Ability to work autonomously within a multi skilled team.
19. Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and good time management skills.
20. Client Service – excellent delivery of technical, administrative, and consulting support to internal and external clients.
21. Change – awareness of environmental, financial, regulatory, and social factors affecting company and clients’ operations and business and knowledge of internal company technological and product capabilities.
22. Commercial Acumen - an in-depth understanding of factors impacting on the delivery of services by the Company.
23. Planning and Organization – development and implementation of courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently and on time.
24. Drive & Self-Motivation - demonstrates a willingness to take on increased responsibilities and displays the ability to act independently
